The Old Market Quarter neighbourhood plan came into force on 15 March 2016.

Neighbourhood area

Old Market Quarter became a designated neighbourhood planning area on 31 January 2013.

Neighbourhood forum

No forum is currently designated to carry out neighbourhood planning in this area.

The previous designation of the Old Market Community Association expired on 7 March 2024.

Application to re-designate Old Market Community Association

An  pdf application (1.05 MB) has been received to re-designate Old Market Community Association, as the neighbourhood forum for the Old Market Quarter neighbourhood area.

You can comment on this application for a 6 week period, from Friday 23 August 2024.

If you would like to comment on the application the deadline for responses is Friday 4 October 2024.

If the Old Market Community Association is re-designated as the neighbourhood forum, no other organisation or body may be designated for that neighbourhood area until that designation expires, 5 years from the date of designation, or is withdrawn.
