We have two pop-up opportunities for food or drinks traders to sell and promote their business; one inside the Glass Arcade amongst the other food traders and the other on Corn Street by the main entrance to the market.
Both positions benefit from high footfall and offer a fantastic opportunity to build your brand, increase sales and gather social media content.
Whether you're already known in Bristol, or you're looking to start a new concept, this is a fantastic opportunity to engage with a captive local audience.
Before you apply
You must:
- Have a Level 2 hygiene certificate.
You must give us a copy of your Level 2 hygiene certificate when you apply for a stall.
Anyone coming into contact with food must have hygiene training before they're allowed to work in a food premises. - Be familiar with our terms and conditions.

You can get this insurance cover by becoming a member of the National Market Traders Federation. You can also get a quote from an insurance broker. - Register your food preparation premises with Environmental Health.

Apply for a space at our On The Nail Pop-Up
We're offering the opportunity to run a food truck pop-up by the main entrance to the Exchange building on Corn Street. We're looking for a food truck business that wishes to trial running a food operation on this extremely busy thoroughfare.
As a food trader you should have a unique and authentic offer that's not currently available within the market. You're encouraged to explore our current offering before applying. Drinks may also be offered as part of your proposal, but we're not accepting requests to make alcoholic beverages or hot drinks.
What you get as a trader
- The pitch is approximately 4m wide by 2.4m deep.
- The pitch is served by a 32amp C-form electrical supply and access to a waste store is also available.
- The use of gas cylinders for cooking purposes is permitted, given the appropriate evidencing of associated safety certification.
- The pitch does not have access to a mains cold water supply or outflow drainage. However, several potable water points are available within the indoor market for use.
If your application is successful, you can trade with us from Monday to Saturday, 9.30 to 5pm. This trial is a test period as we look to secure a permanent trader in this position. We're looking to host 2 or 3 traders for 1 to 3 month periods (although we are open to a full-time application should any trader decide this is the right trading opportunity for them).
There will also be an expectation trade on Sundays when the market is open (this includes Sundays between 6 July to 31 August and the 6 weeks leading up to Christmas). There would be room to discuss a later finish time on the weekends, but this would involve limited access to facilities.
Outside of official trading days and times, it is expected that any trading equipment, vehicle, or trailer will be removed from site.

Cost
The pop-up is priced at £1,100 per month inclusive of power.
Stall fee licence payments are collected via an associated City Council payment system and must be paid in advance of trading.

We're offering the opportunity to run a pop-up stall within the Glass Arcade.
We're looking to attract local food and drink enterprises who wish to use the space as a promotional opportunity for 1 to 3 months to complement our existing mix of businesses. Applications should be for the sale of food and drink for immediate consumption.
Beyond a chance to sell goods, we see Pop-Up Corner as a fantastic brand awareness and marketing opportunity in one of the busiest food and drink locations in Bristol.
The stall sits alongside many well established and successful food businesses, in an area of the market that benefits from high levels of lunchtime visitors.
